Ten Months (tomorrow)

Tomorrow Slade will be ten months old, and oh boy has he gotten active lately!  I didn't realize just how active he had gotten until I didn't have him for a week.... my house got so clean that week. :)

So far this week, besides getting into everything, he has discovered where my kitchen is, and also that he can crawl UP my stairs. 

 Now he is trying to figure out how he can get past teh baby gate!

Also, yesterday he got to try ravioli for the first time and he LOVED it!

I honistly think that he just might be one of the messiest litters that I have ever fed! 

I love this little guy, he is so fun, and such a sweetheart!

ANY DAY NOW!

Slade is almost 10 months old, and he wants to walk SO BAD!

He pulls himself up on everything, and he always wants to be standing up.  I honistly think that he stands more than he sits.  He walks along things, and if he is holding someone's hands he will just automaticly start walking.  If you lift him up just enough so that his feet are barely touching the floor, he will start kicking his legs like he is riding a bike!  It is SO FUNNY!  I am hoping to get a video of it. :)

He's not quite sturdy enough to stand all by himself yet, but I don't think that will te too far off

He also recently found my stairs.  Luckily so far he just stands at the bottom and bangs on the highest step that he can reach.  It won't be long before he is trying to go up them though, and my baby gate is ready and waiting! :)

Play Time!

Now that Slade is a lot more mobile, he LOVES to play with my kids.  Most of the time the kids play with him, but if he sees them run up the stairs, or something like that he will start to crawl after them!  They have so much fun playing together!

On this particular day he played very hard.  One minute he was sitting there playing, and the next he was like this! :)

Fianally An Update!

I know that when I started this blog, I said that I would update it often, and obviously that didn't exactly happen.  But there is a reason for that.  I started the blog under Kimber's account in hopes that she might get the hint and write about her kid...... that didn't happen either. 

The reason why I never updated is because I never remembered to log into Kimber's account when I was logged into my own account, but that won't be a problem anymore because I just invited myself as an author of this blog, so I will see it whenever I log into my own blog..... you can expect more updates now! 

SO WHAT'S NEW WITH SLADE?

*He is almost 8 and 1/2 months old now!

*  He just got his first tooth!

*  He crawls!

*  He just reached 20 pounds! 

*  He is fianally getting hair, and it is RED!

He is such a sweetheart, and he loves to cuddle!  He is a pretty mild mannered little guy, however when he wants something, he lets you know it!  He can be pretty intense cometimes!  He also has the cutest little laugh, and he laughs all the time! 

Watching Slade is so much fun, and I am so glad that I get to see him so often!

Six Months Old!!!

Slade turned six months old back on the 15!  He is just growing up way too fast, and he is learning new things every day!

Kimber also tells me that he will now stand while holding onto something, but he won't show off in front of me, so I don't have a picture of that!

In Honor Of Grandpa's 50th. Birthday!

Today our dad turned 50!!!

In honor of Grandpa's birthday, Slade showed up at my house this morning wearing this onsie!  It was so cute that I just had to take a picture! :)

Hi!

My name is Courtney, and I am Slade's aunt.  I babysit him nearly every day, and I have been posting updates about him on my own blog since his mommy has to work, and dosen't have much time for blogging.
