The Love Of Boxes!

A few days ago Slade was kinda grumpy and nothing seamed to make him very happy.  After a couple hours of this A package arived.  at the door.  As soon as I opened the box Slade climbed inside, and he was magicaly happy for the rest of the da.  I guess all he needed was a box! :)

So Sleepy

As some of you may know, Slade likes to fight sleep. 

Well the other day, it was nap time, but he also hadn't eaten in a while, so I decided to feed him before putting him to sleep so that his hungry tummy wouldn't wake him up early. 

So, I got him buckled into his highchair, put his food on the tray, and no sooner had I sat town in the couch when I looked over and saw this. 

To which my sister in law replied "Easiest nap ever!" 

1ST. HAIR CUT!

Poor Slade was starting to get a comb over, and a mullett, so his mom decided that it was time for a hair cut.

 David had asked Kimber to be the first person to cut Slade's hair, so I held him, and Kimber went to work. Slade was a little traumatized. :)

 When it was all finished, he looked very handsome!

FOR THE LOVE OF LAUNDRY

Slade LOVES to help his mom and dad with the laundry!  His favorite thing to do is sit in the laundry basket when it is full of clothes! 

Obviously this is not a laundry basket.  It is actually the dress up bucket at my grandparents house, but it is the only picture that I have that goes with the post. 

SLADE TURNED ONE!!!

 Slade turned one of February 1t, so his mommy and daddy threw him a party the following Saturday. 

Grandma made him this adorable cake!

Poor Baby!

Poor baby Slade has had a cold FOREVER!  One day this past week while I was watching him he just seamed to be extra sick.  He was very pale, and just not acting like he felt well at all!  So I called his mommy, and she left work to take him to the doctor.  He is now on breething treatments 3 times a day.  He still has his cold, but he is acting like he feels much better! 

Ten Months (tomorrow)

Tomorrow Slade will be ten months old, and oh boy has he gotten active lately!  I didn't realize just how active he had gotten until I didn't have him for a week.... my house got so clean that week. :)

So far this week, besides getting into everything, he has discovered where my kitchen is, and also that he can crawl UP my stairs. 

 Now he is trying to figure out how he can get past teh baby gate!

Also, yesterday he got to try ravioli for the first time and he LOVED it!

I honistly think that he just might be one of the messiest litters that I have ever fed! 

I love this little guy, he is so fun, and such a sweetheart!
